Violet Finch Leicester (Trixie) Violet Finch Leicester (Trixie) was born 1 January 1919 to Vi and Ted Leicester. Her twin brother was named after his father, Edgar, but he was called Buster. Her older sister was Joan and older brother was Wilf. Her younger sister, Lily (called Bunty), was born two years later. Trixie married Charles Edwin Ward in 1940.
